When you download skype you will see the tool bar. It will have call, help, chat, and view.
It has a video feature. You can use it to video chat to those you speak with and they can see you. Or you can choose to not use the camera feature and just talk or type.
Use the find feature to find other skype users that could be potential leads. You can type in the name Smith and get all the people named Smith who use skype.
Do not bother with the age or gender box when first looking for leads. Leave the skype mode box unchecked. This is a privacy function for people who use skype for dating purposes. You are not worried about privacy in this case since you are marketing your products or services and mainly focused on recruiting and lead generation.
You can then click find under the search name. You will then highlight the names and add them to your Skype leads folder in skype contact manager. You can only send one message unless using a marketing program, so make it a good one so people will want to visit your website.
Remember to be polite and friendly but also interesting. You want to copy your message so you will not have to spend time rewriting each one. Simply copy and paste your pre written message and you will be on your way to sending three to four hundred messages a day to leads.
